Biography

Mahya Wood is the Technical Sales Officer at Normec OWS, where she helps companies improve the environmental impact of their products. With over 20 years in the testing, inspection, certification, and conformance (TICC) industry, she has held roles as an analytical chemist, toxicologist, and program manager. Her expertise spans water and dietary supplement testing, chemical toxicity review, and support for the EPA’s Safer Choice program.

Currently, Mahya focuses on compostability testing, LCAs, and consulting services, driving sustainability across supply chains.
